A personal homepage.
Out of the millions of pages on the world wide web, I pleased that you've navigated here to mine. This is a personal web page that presents some of my experiences, musings, commentary, opinions, and projects.
I recently got more involved with Facebook. If you haven't tried Facebook, it is an experience and a half. Social networking is clearly here to stay. It turns out that many of my friends, associates and relatives have Facebook accounts and actively use them. Thanks to the numerous email alerts, I'm discovering new facets of Facebook every day. You could easily get sucked into it like quicksand!
In 2007-2008, I was teaching ITIL Foundations for Global Knowledge, Inc. In support of that effort, I trained for and took the ITIL v2 Service Manager exam. I was unsuccesful. In February,I took the ITIL v2 Service Manager exam a second time and passed. I can now call myself a certified IT Service Manager.
It was, without doubt, the most difficult exam I've taken in decades. I take pride in earning this certification.
Alas, the wave of interest in ITIL training has crested and my brief career as an ITIL trainer has ebbed. It was great while it lasted. I love training and plan to go back to it, if the opportunity arises. If you happen to have been in one of my classes, thanks.
My husband, Errol, is a partner in a consulting firm, Public Sector Consultants, Inc., which offers a variety of consulting
services to public and private
organizations.
Public Sector merged with MetaVista Consulting Group.
I'm not sure I'd describe myself as having hobbies because I'm not that disciplined. My two greatest interests, outside the Hubs, at present are golf and our Great Danes.
I have the kind of brain that just likes to know things. So, I read lots of books and articles and troll the net for intriguing ideas. Here is a list of things that have caught my fancy recently.
Our three Great Danes, Angel, Dallas and Shadow, keep us both busy and happy. In addition to their page,I post pictures of them on Webshots, Facebook and Flicker. Check out my Puppy Cam 2008 for a peek at my yard.
